FISHING WORKERS _VIETNAM

Fisheries constitute one of the most important economic sectors in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the export turnover of the country and supplying the main protein nutrition for the population. Over 3.4 million people are involved in capture fisheries, fish farming, transporting, processing, distributing and marketing of fish and fishery products. More than half are females living in rural areas and coastal fishing villages.
