Final Goodbye

This is the last picture taken of Naomi, our long-haired chihuahua, before she was euthanized at 12 years old. She was my first baby. She developed a heart condition and after months of medication, we made the painful decision to let her go so that she would not suffer. Her pain was ending, but my grief was fresh.
