Beetle on locoweed flowers

I think one of the best ways to utilize sustainable travel is to use your own 2 feet whenever possible. Hiking is one of my passions. I live in the mountains and make sure I get out as often as I can to explore. The picture I took was from a meadow a couple of miles from our house in Pike National Forest. I was using my iPhone to take pictures of the flowers when I noticed this amazing beetle on some locoweed.
