An unfortunate victim of winter storms: dead gannet

While taking an evening walk upon one of Jersey's (UK) beautiful sandy beaches one mild winters day I came across this sad but curiously beautiful scene of a gannet, likely the victim of recent severe winter storms, washed up on the beach.
