A Surprise Rainbow Outside of Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, Michigan
I am a student at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit. On the days we do not have class, we are allowed to come into the studio and work on our projects. This is called "Open Studio". One day while I was there working a huge thunderstorm occurred. It rained, thundered and exhibited lightening for quite a while. Lightening even struck the parking lot across the street and the power went out for a short time in the Pewabic building. Because of the lack of light, I happened to look out the window. There I saw a beautiful rainbow right where the lightening struck. Right there and then I grabbed my trusty phone camera and took a picture.
