A gondolier at work down a canal of Venice.
If you look closely at the buildings, you can see that they are quite worn down. There are no streets, no cars, just water. But even though on paper it may seem like an old run down city, once you see it, you can see how stunning an old place can really be. No one will question the fact that Venice is a place of beauty. And no one will try to argue that Venice is a modern location either. While most of the world is focused on moving forward with newer, better things, the city of Venice, which this picture portrays, remains ancient yet is still visited by many because its beauty outweighs all other factors.
