A Blanket of Petals

During the spring of 2015, our faithful Robin returned to lay her eggs in our cherry blossom tree. While out gathering nutrition, we had a strong wind which blew off the cherry blossoms and covered the egg. I love the contrast between the soft pink petals and the sharp blue egg.
