6 year old embracing American flag
I am recently widowed and on Oct. 6, 2016 my husband COL Gene Montague was finally laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery. After the service, we got back into our limo and my friend Heather Gilotti who also is a military widow, captured this photo of my 6 year old son Aza, embracing the flag that was presented to him.
It would mean so much to me if you can share this profound photo, for the whole world to see, that my son will never know the magnitude and impact his dad left in this world as a 33 year veteran of The US Army, as a hero and as a loving dad. The flag is the only symbol he has that defines his service to our country.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
