The veil represents an ideal and the bar represents the weight of this ideal. There are residual scars on her body from trying to push against this ideal, however, beneath the fabric one can see her bright eyes, capable of witnessing, perceiving, and directing attention. Perhaps, in this moment she holds a realization: she holds strength not just in the potentiality of pushing the weight above her, but also in the softness of her face and the residual scars on her body.
