Tower shines Free from the Darkness

The Freedom Tower is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, tragically destroyed during 9/11. This photograph features a dramatic contrast between the sunlit tower and its geometry, versus the darkness of the street leading to it. A diagonal angle amplifies the sense of direction.
