My little brother

the Burrard St. Bridge connects the hip neighborhood of Kitsilano to downtown Vancouver. It is beautiful by night and many pedestrians choose to use it.

French Quarter Fest in New Orleans

this photo was taken while walking along False Creek on the way to Granville Island. It was a brilliant day and the sun's reflection on the buildings is doubled by the reflection in the water.

I took this photo one day when I was walking home. I thought the worker was having a snooze, but when I looked at the photo later, I realized he was on his cell phone.

the image of a hand-scripted sheet of Gregorian Chant music from the 18th century has been overlaid a contemporary teenager which brings out a gentle and romantic look in her.

Vancouver has many bridges and this one, the Burrard St. Bridge, is a favorite with pedestrians. Vancouver also has lots of rain; I took this shot at the downtown end of the bridge on a rainy day.

this photo was taken in a Marine industrial workshop where my landlord is welding parts for ferry boat engines.
