Plains Indian Dancer

This image depicts a Plains Indian Dancer performing the Bustle Dance at a Powwow in Oklahoma, where the dance is said to have originated; This dance is faster than other Native American dances and requires great stamina and coordination. The regalia bustle is decorated with colorful fringe that represents the Rainbow Spirit.
