Painted rocks for sale, Ocean Point,
We were on a family vacation, June 2015, to Maine, and we rented a cottage on Ocean Point, ME, near Boothbay Harbor.
We walked up the road to the cove beach and passed a house that had painted rocks for sale. It was on the "honor system" since you chose a rock and then put any amount of money in the covered light house jar.
I chose this for an American Experience, because I see things like this every so often, with people selling flowers, vegetables from their garden or artistic things like this at stands in front of their house, and there is never anyone usually there, leaving up to the buyer to leave money.
