The first time I celebrated the 4th of July in the US was with a friend who dragged me to see my first ever real fireworks show. I was visiting New York in 2017, when a lot of changes politically were happening in the US. It was amazing to see how many people gathered together with friends and loved ones, to see the fireworks in the sky and celebrating their Independence Day with joy, peace, and music.
