Mississippi River at Jacobson, Minnesota
Having been born in the Mississippi flood plain in Madison County, Illinois and having crossed the Father of Waters recently at Baton Rouge, I think of the river as a great commercial waterway. At Jacobson, a canoe would have a hard time navigating the river. I thought it was a nice contrast to my long held conceptions.
