Love Locks Placed on a Walking Bridge Over the River

This former railroad bridge in my hometown has become a place to promise eternal love by placing a lock signifying your pledge. My husband and I placed one on the bridge just before he was institutionalized for dementia. Six months later he is dead, but I can go visit our love lock and feel close to him.
