Locomotive fireman checks his fire
First thing in the morning, Ross Gochenaur has climbed into the cab of one of the Strasburg Rail Road's locomotives, and now he checks the bank yesterday's fireman left him; he will break up that mass of glowing coals before adding additional coal, and in half an hour a roaring fire will have the pressure in the boiler rising towards 200 pounds per square inch.
