Life and Death.

In New Mexico there is a great sense of life and death. The beauty stands out more because of this dichotomy. In this photograph the red chili represents life in New Mexico. In our culture chilies are a staple in every day life. Skulls litter the environment due to the arid climate of the desert. Having both in one photograph is a simple reminder of our own mortality.
