Going Fishing in Alaska

There aren't many boat ramps in Alaska but fishing is one of the major activities for both residents and tourists. The Alaska Fish and Game Department devised this ingenious way to get the boats into the water. The huge tractor hooks onto the trailer and backs it into the water on the beach deep enough for the boat to float. On the return, the boat is driven directly back onto the trailer and hauled out of the water.
