Garrett of Burden, Kansas

On my travels across the United States I passed through a small Kansas town called Burden. I saw Garrett on my visit to the high school there. It was impossible not to as his belt buckle was nearly the size of his head. Then after being introduced I realized he was, quite possibly, the epitome of a young American cowboy. Soft spoken, kind, gentle, slightly mischievous, and a heart of gold. I wanted that essence in a photo, but with a sort of Stanley Kubrick-ish twist. And so we found his locker and took some photos.
