Finest Kind

People from the fishing village of Cortez, Florida are known as the "Finest Kind," as this fishing boat indicates. Some families with boats at this dock have fished local waters for five generations, linking arms to defend their precious waterfront property from developers, and working to have their village designated on the National Register of Historic Places to preserve its century-old cottages.
