Abe Doumar  created the first ice cream cone at the 1904 Worlds Fair in St. Louis.
The original cone machine is still in use at this location in Norfolk, VA

When a few members of Westboro Baptist Church came to Norfolk Virginia (to spread their message of hate) I was able to photograph these two Moms at a counter protest.

She was watching her brother and friends swim in a pond, and wanted to join in so badly, but the water was too deep.  The cloud, hill, and companion dandelions captured her mood perfectly.
