Diwali Rangoli in the United States

The photo is the Rangoli decoration for Diwali we did in our home in the United States. My 6 year-old assisted me in this decoration. I wanted my daughter to be exposed to this form of Indian artwork in the US and so I involved her too in this. She loves it much. It involves starting with just dots and then connecting them to form different shapes. I also through this photograph want to showcase that the United States is a melting pot of immigrants of various cultures and ethnicities.
