Coal

Coal - Coal is in the daily controversies here in the Pacific Northwest. We are a hub, a way point in moving coal from the mid-west and eastern states, onto China and Asia. We ask ourselves, "what is more important, energy and jobs or the environmental issues and transportation risks?" In these parts, half of us see jobs (blue collar jobs that are rapidly disappearing in the USA) while the other half see's dirty pollution and uneven risk management of transporting millions of tons of coal.
