Battle scars

Bullet damage to the farm office during the Battle of Franklin on November 30th, 1864. The farm office is the most bullet ridden structures in America. Seeing the light stream through the dozens of bullet holes is a humbling reminder of the epic human struggle that erupted on the Carter farm.
