Aviary of the mind

I was spending the weekend with a group of watercoloring artist friends in Los Osos. The morning after our arrival before we went off to watercolor I decided to go down to the beach at Montana de Oro - 'Morro Bay Estuary', one of the largest and most important wetlands systems on the central California cost. I wanted to have a walk and take some photos. Its a wonderful beach it serves as an important resting and foraging ground for migratory birds... there were just the birds, a fisherman and myself ..with the towers of Morro Bay showing in the distance.. I love the early morning light the birds and the fisherman a wonderful combination.. how lucky was I!
