Wild Cyaclamens in the Woods: An Inverted View
We love to go to the woods near us in Israel, particularly in the spring. Our favorite flower: cyaclamens, varied from white to pink to purple. But this last spring we were delighted to come upon more than we had ever seen at once, in Ya'ar Ben Shemen. At home, the photos were pretty, but seemed to gain a mysterious aspect in the negative, or inverted colors. So the white flowers are black, the forest is purple.
