A ghost town from a boom town, summer to fall, clear weather to storm. In the 1880's, the town shown, Jefferson, was a boom town for miners and railroad workers. It 's permanent population was over 1,000. and swelled to a much larger number in busy times. The glacial valley shown in near 10,000' high.
