The Vanishing of Art, MoMA, Van Gogh, Diptych

Art is kept as realistic as is feasible. Stylizing the viewer emphasizes the permanence of art and the ephemeral intrusion of the viewer. It is less likely to see art by itself. I grow more certain that art will be modified, enhanced or concealed by the viewer, and at times art is completely vanishing.
