The Eagle’s Gaze

The eagle and I were gazing at the lake peacefully. It reminded me of our history that President Truman changed the direction of the eagle’s head on the presidential seal from facing the talon grasping a shaft of arrows to the other talon holding an olive branch (that symbolizes peace and hope).
