Suspended Animation

Watching hummingbirds is like watching the most technically advanced 'wildlife prototype' - it's joy and fascination combined. Capturing these magnificent birds is not so easy, as I learned when I visited Costa Rica in 2015. Through these images, I've tried to isolate the subject and present it's silhouette in 'high key' style for a greater effect.
