Along the St-Lawrence River (Quebec), geologic form are just marvelous. There is many intrusion of quartz roc in the shale. The shale rocks are dark grey and, in contrast, the quartz is white. So, when you walk alond the river, it is very interesting and, sometimes, it is also very attractive to look at these shapes on the dark rock. It's an abstract exercise for me, this exercise just frees up my mind and prepare myself mentally for Creative Photography.
