It's a collaboration between myself and another area photographer, David Allan Harris. I took his images, a model and a red-orange lily, and pasted them together into a small sculpture. The sculptural aspect is partially inspired by the work of Colette Fu, photographer and paper artist. Specifically, I've been exploring the meaning of patterns and repetition in nature and in life itself. As human beings, we belong firmly in the natural order of the animal and plant kingdom. Using these photos, I depict the symbolic significance and intersections of the physical and social worlds around us.
