Sailing on the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie NY
A view of a sail boat sailing down the Hudson River, Photo taken from 212 feet above the Hudson River. The Walkway over the Hudson is the largest walk across bridge in the world. This bridge connects Poughkeepsie, to Highland NY, in Dutchess County NY. The view was breathtaking and if visiting Upstate NY, this is a bridge everyone should experience. This is why this photo is a sustainable travel photo to me, I live in New York and the Hudson River always has boats sailing down it, usually you get to see only speed boats, jet skies,or some type of motor boat; but to see an old fashion sail boat sailing down is rare now a days. The bridge was built in 1888 and was converted to a walk across bridge across bridge historic park in 2009.
