Polaris and star trails over the Bristlecone Pines
Visiting the Shulman Grove at the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in California at new moon. The clear dark skies and high altitude (10,000 feet) made it a perfect night for star photography. This is about 40 minutes of the earth rotating and the north star is between the trees making circles as the stars sweep through them.
