Perspective on the Great Wall

I’ve been to the Great Wall twice before, both different locations, so it was really fun for me to be able to visit yet another section of the wall. Because the location was more remote, therefore more difficult, less people were present. In total, we climbed to 10 towers, a distance that at first, I wasn’t so keen on doing. After experiencing the first couple of stair sets I wanted to traverse to tower 8 and then take the gondola back down to the base. BUT, as soon as I started climbing more and seeing more of the breathtaking scenery, I became more determined to conquer. There was a very refreshing breeze that was consistent the entire time we were on the wall and it made such a difference. And as soon as I made it to the 10th tower, I got that rush of accomplishment along with the satisfaction of amazing views.
