Late spring

The winter time in the east cost of Quebec (canada) may be long and very cold. The St. Lawrence River is almost entirely covered by ice and wind often blows hard. The landscape are often magnificently in the late of the afternoon, but cold is also very present. Some deciduous trees species can survive the extreme cold and the wind sometimes violent in January and February. When winter is very cold, the ice cover remains sometimes late in March on the coast. This photograpy show what it's look like an early spring in the east coast of Quebec.
