Incomplete

Before I came up with this image, I was brainstorming ideas for how I could create something that would leave people perplexed. One of my favourite things to do as a photographer/artist is to leave people wondering, “how?”. Is it a mirror? Is it photoshop? How? That’s how I came up with the “see-through” concept. Not only is it both visually appealing and confusing, but the concept also conveys an important message. I wanted this image to show somebody who feels incomplete, like a part of them is missing.
