During what turned out to be our last family vacation in Columbus, Nebraska I found this fantastic abstract subject. The retaining wall protecting my in-laws yard from the eroding effects of the lake, once wet from waves of boats pulling water skiers and tubers, revealed a "canvas". Nature appeared to convert this concrete slab into what very well mimicked a Homer or Turner oil painting.
