The Badshahi Mosque in Lahore was commissioned by the sixth Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The Badshahi Mosque was built between 1671 and 1673, for the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It's the second largest mosque in South Asia and the fifth largest in the world - the courtyard can hold 100,000 people.
