Khumbu Valley opens in all its splendor for the trekker who stops at the Everest View Hotel perched above Namche Bazaar, Nepal. Everest [8848m] is the chimney stack in the middle. Ama Dablam [6812m] is to the right. Taboche [6495m] towers over Phortse, the village jutting out into the valley.
