Day's end for these cattle drovers in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

From a distance I watched several scenarios play out in silhouette as the sun set on a hot summer day in the Flint Hills of Kansas. The Flint Hills are the largest remaining stand of tallgrass prairie left in the world. They are preserved and protected, as they should be. But lifestyles of the past flourish here, like these drovers finishing their day of driving cattle.
