A pile of seeds on the sidewalk

It had been windy, so the trees were gifting the ground. I get around in a wheelchair, so I tend to notice minutae low to the ground such as this: Cropping the image so severely, so that the seed pile becomes nothing but a synecdoche helps to show the irony in the struggle between Nature and industry.
