A F-100D flying above the Rocky Mountains.

COLD BLUE HUN - This a composite picture I created using a 1/48 scale F-100D Super Sabre replica which was nicked name THE HUN by the pilots who flew it. The special markings are from the 31s Tactical Fighter in 1957 for the William Tell Gunnery meet. I contructed the replica using aluminum foil for the finished skin and photographed it in natural lighting from various angles, and at the same time of day and light that I had previously photographed the background altitude picture while flying over the Rocky Mountains.
