525 US 15 (Montgomery Pike), South Williamsport, PA 17702 - United States
Museum Day Hours of Operation: 9:00 am ‐ 5:00 pm (Last introductory movie shown at 4:30 pm)
Filled with unusual objects nestled among some never-before-displayed artifacts, the Museum takes the history of Little League and relates it to world events. The stories intertwine with the sport, organized in 1939. Interactive exhibits, films and artifacts, include a piece of the Berlin Wall, two Emmy Awards, highlights of previous Little League World Series games.
A new exhibit at the World of Little League Museum is a collection of artifacts associated with Little League graduate Anthony Rizzo. Mr. Rizzo, first baseman for the Chicago Cubs, helped his team last year to the Cubs’ first world championship since 1908. The artifacts, donated to the World of Little League by Anthony’s parents, John and Laurie Rizzo, include a Cubs cap worn by Mr. Rizzo during the 2016 World Series, a signed jersey, photographs from his Little League days, and more.
This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone and in person.
