The mission of the Wilmington Railroad Museum is to provide an educational and enjoyable experience concerning the history, technology, and impact of the rail industry with emphasis on the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.

We feature two history halls with local artifacts and information highlighting the history, occupations and operations of railroads. In addition, we have a full size 1910 steam engine and a caboose for visitors to explore. Our Children's Hall boasts a large collection of toy trains and an O scale, Lionel layout. Our Model Hall includes HO and N scale trains and over 30 interactive buttons.

The Wilmington Railroad Museum is proud to celebrate our over 40 years of sharing our love for railroad history with all ages!
