Housed in one of the world's last remaining wooden World War II blimp hangars, the Tillamook Air Museum is an unforgettable experience for both young and old alike.

Originally built to house blimps that would be used for anti-submarine patrol during the Second World War, the Museum's historic wooden hangar (Hangar B) is now home to the Tillamook Air Museum. Visitors will be astounded by the museum’s display of over 25 aircraft, including an F-14 Tomcat used in the 1986 Hollywood blockbuster "Top Gun", an A-7 Corsair ll that flew multiple missions in the first Gulf War, A-26 Invader, Aero-Spacelines Mini-Guppy, and many more! Explore what life was like during the German Blitz by climbing into our interactive WW ll British Air Raid Shelter. Take a walk through the Exhibit Hall, with rare wartime and aviation themed artifacts from WW l to the present, including pieces of the great German airship, the Hindenburg. Welcome to history housing history!
