The Hyde Collection is an art museum and historic house near the Adirondacks. The permanent collection is featured in the historic home year round and special exhibitions are on view in its five galleries. The permanent collection consists of works by old masters and Modern artists such as Picasso, Renoir, Rembrandt, Degas, Hassam, Warhol, Albers, Riley, Kelly, and many more.

Museum Day falls on our annual fundraising gala! The Historic Hyde house will be open for Museum Day, however our temporary exhibit space won't be available due to our fundraising event.

Exhibits

Historic Hyde House
Historic Hyde House provides an opportunity to explore six centuries of art and decorative arts.
Discover masterpieces by the likes of Degas, Rembrandt, Rubens, Renoir, and Seurat — among others — in a 1912 home decorated as it was when Louis and Charlotte Hyde lived among their world-class art collection.

Our permanent collection also has works by, Botticelli, Rafael, El Greco, Eakins, Picasso, and more.

Museum Day tickets do not provide access to our gala event. They provide access to our collections on display during Saturday, September 21st

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
