The Grace Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum located in Abilene, Texas. In 1937, the culturally minded Women’s Club of Abilene established the Abilene Fine Arts Museum in a small facility located in Rose City Park. In 1987, a campaign was initiated to save the majestic Hotel Grace. The museum found a new home in this beautifully renovated structure and in 1992, the Abilene Fine Arts Museum changed its name to reflect the historic location to the Grace Cultural Center, and then to The Grace Museum.

In 2005, The Grace Museum earned accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums bringing national recognition and a reputation as an institution committed to excellence and highest professional standards. This standing has expanded borrowing rights and opportunities to exhibit art and artifacts from major museums and collectors. The museum is home to five art galleries on three floors, an interactive family area, a photography gallery, a history museum, and an education center that includes a research and children’s library. The Grace annually presents twelve to fifteen exhibitions that form the foundation for a robust programming schedule.

Today, the 55,000 square foot building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to serve as the cornerstone of Abilene's cultural downtown center.
