Come and explore over 200 interactive STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) exhibits which inspire education and imagination. Every exhibit is a mini-experiment with information about what to DO at the station and the scientific explanation for what is happening. Bring the entire family! Young and old minds alike will discover science in the world around them. SciTech also offers group field trips, overnights, scout programs, birthday parties and day camps.

The mission of SciTech Hands On Museum, a Science and Technology Center, is to inspire learning through creative, interactive educational programs and activities.

Come to SciTech with an open mind, ready to learn and explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Read the signs and conduct experiments. We also ask that visitors under the age of 18 remain accompanied by an adult at all times.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
